Cosmo D’s Moves of the Diamond Hand hits Early Access April 13
Cosmo D has announced that his next work, Moves of the Diamond Hand, will release into Early Access on April 13, 2026. Keep the number to your local pizzeria close at hand.
If you’re not familiar with Moves of the Diamond Hand, I previewed it about a year ago, and you can check it out over here. If you’re not familiar with Cosmo D, your mother and I are very disappointed in you. However, last year I also reviewed all the games in his anthology and capped the experience off by interviewing the man himself. It’s quite interesting if you’re exactly like me.
You should at least play Betrayal at Club Low. Just fantastic take on a tabletop RPG. Very weird, extremely fun.
Anyway, Moves of the Diamond Hand incorporates Club Low’s RPG dice-roll actions with the walking simulator exploration of earlier games. The Early Access release contains the first two chapters, with the demo consisting of the first. Speaking of which, the demo is getting updated today with “changes and additions” to bring it up to what’s included in the Early Access.
I’d describe the narrative, but it’s pretty out there. It consists of a mayoral race, with one of the candidates being a blatant clone.
It’s described as a one-city-block RPG, and it’s stated that the Early Access release is already bigger than Cosmo D’s entire anthology combined. It’s said that the Early Access roadmap is planned and forthcoming.
Moves of the Diamond Hand releases into Early Access on April 13, 2026 for PC. It will be priced at $19.99 USD.
