The first year of Game Complaint Department's (before it was Maximum Utmost) Game of the Year "awards." I should have come up with a dumber, flashier title. I can't believe I've been running this site since 2017. Really, what the hell? I still feel like I'm new at this.

Opinion – Why the Ataribox Doesn’t Deserve Your Hype
A crude early article that was, at the time, at least reasonably accurate. Atari would later change course entirely, but when this article was published, they were rather reprehensible. Enclosed are some thoughts about the then-impending launch of the "Ataribox," which would later launch as the Atari VCS.
