Elder Scrolls Novels – “The Infernal City” and “Lord of Souls” (with Gretchen) – Spin-Offs Classic
In this two part set of podcasts we discuss the pair of canonical novels set in the Elder Scrolls universe written by Gregg Keyes, The Infernal City and Lord of Souls. These novels both tell one contained story split across both volumes and they serve as a bridge between the events of The Elder Scrolls: IV Oblivion and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
When a floating city crosses the skies of Tamriel killing everything in its path, our protagonists Annaïg and Mere-Glim infiltrate the infernal city and get caught up in a deadly game of Kitchen Nightmares. Elsewhere, Prince Attrebus Mede and his dunmer companion Sul track the city by land looking for a solution to their problems.
We talked with Gretchen about both of these books on two separate occasions, about 5 months apart. But now with the power of these being old episodes of a podcast, you can listen to them both back to back!
These books are available on most e-reader sites and are available as brilliantly performed audio books wherever you get audio books.

Daniel is a podcast producer and musician who spends way too much time in the edit to make audio sound as good as possible.
