Review – Paperboy (N64)
I probably have too many soft spots, but I reserve one of them for the Paperboy series. While the original is best remembered, Paperboy for the N64 has been practically forgotten. However, I find that it has charm of its own to the point where it's worth checking out.

Despite really enjoying the first game in the Clay Fighter series (as a kid), I never had much of a chance to play the sequel until I was much older. I had a friend who had played it and told me stories, and that just kind of made me jealous.

Review – Rampage 2: Universal Tour
It's sometimes the small things that make a sequel so much better than the original. Take Rampage 2, for example. Simply changing it so that lives actually have meaning and you can't just continue indefinitely makes the experience feel a lot more satisfying. Plus, you can still eat people off of toilets.

Review – Rogue Trip: Vacation 2012
When the Gods of Quality forsook the Twisted Metal series, others attempted to take up the torch. One was Rogue Trip, a game by the original developers of the Twisted Metal series. But rather than do Twisted Metal but-a-bit-different, they instead decided to try something new. And new it is.

Review – Twisted Metal 4
Ugh, gosh. Are we at Twisted Metal Black yet? 989 Studios wasn't necessarily a bad choice to hand the series off to, but it's obvious they weren't a very good fit. Their first contribution to the series wasn't very good, and, guess what, Twisted Metal 4 isn't great either.

Review – Star Wars: Episode 1: Racer
Episode I was a travesty, and I accept no arguments. On the plus side, we got some great games. My favourite is Star Wars: Episode I: Racer, based on that stupidly ostentatious scene from the movie. So much suggests this game would be bad, but it's quite the opposite.

Dating Adzuken – True Love
Finally, and actual adult dating sim. Adult in the sense that it has sexual themes. It's still schoolyear romance. True Love says it takes place during college, but I'm not entirely convinced. Pretty sure those are high school uniforms. But, whatever. Do you think there will be nudity? You might be surprised.

Review – Duke Nukem 3D: 20th Anniversary World Tour
Duke Nukem 3D was a huge game for me at a time in life when I shouldn't have been playing it. In fact, it probably really screwed up my sexual development. And while the 20th Anniversary World Tour version isn't the best, it gives me an excuse to talk about it. As if I needed one.

Review – Army Men: Sarge’s Heroes (PS1)
You might recall me mentioning that a lot of Army Men ports were completely different depending on what platform they were on? Sarge's Heroes on PS1 is a good example. It resembles the N64 and Dreamcast versions, but its levels and the way it plays are completely different. Not in a good way.

Review – Demon’s Crest
This is the oddly named third game in the Gargoyle's Quest series. Demon's Crest ditches the more cartoonish aspects of the previous game and goes full horror. Firebrand is also a hot piece of toast, and people don't read this far down in these excerpts, do they? That would be embarrassing.
